Comments Website indicated camera rental availability but they only had a professional rig at $250 daily rate. I suggested they have an easier to use rental available, but I would just buy one if i ever return because this was the best diving I have ever done in my life. They do provide a free flash drive with good video if you complete the questionnaire at the end of your stay. VIP airport service in Bali allowed us to off load non diving clothes and luggage for storage there to travel light (they give you a $100 resort credit if you are under their weight restriction). This allowed them to add more cargo and supplies to the charter flight. Our suitcases were waiting for us at the Bali airport upon our return.
Everything else was also VIP type 5 star which makes the long journey from the USA and expense worthwhile. Don't let the apparent inconvenience of diving the house reef from their tenders keep you from doing this. Due to schedules, wind and chop (sandy conditions) we did it snorkeling and it was spectacular (saw critters we had not seen on our boat dives). We (wife and I are mid 50s baby boomers) spent 3 nights in Bali to get acclimated, and not risk missing flights/connections. and be well rested (self sustaining resort is the only thing on this island). You may think this is a high priced resort, but it is well worth every dollar. We've heard bad reports from other divers who headed elsewhere in the vicinity and region for lower prices, but we would go back tomorrow if it was easier/shorter to get there. Can't wait till we have the time to go back again during a less windy time of year, as the more remote sites were inaccessible during our mid January 5 night stay. There are plenty of closer in sites (and diving was fantastic) with calmer conditions, but when you go on a bucket list trip you really want to "do it all." Staff was incredible and always helpful. One Russian guest was having a few loud cell phone conversations in the dining room (none of us other guests had cell phone service, although the wifi service was a real convenience for me) until I compelled the dining room manager to intercede. Was the BEST diving in the world we have ever done, and it will spoil you for any other spot on the planet.
