Comments We wanted a resort that didn't have lots of step climbing after every dive. La Chevrerie has rooms located not far above the beach. Until the weather changed making boat exits on the beach difficult, we had that. A couple of days we needed to climb the steps to the road and take the resort van to or from some dives.
Like most Anilao resorts, the dives were off banca style outrigger boats. Boarding the boat was from a rocky beach using a narrow ramp. Exits at the end of the diving was down the same ramp. Back roll entries and cameras handed down. The first day we complained that the ladder on the boat had rungs too far apart and by the next morning, they had added extra rungs. We were there right at the change of seasons and critter sightings were very good, but not as impressive as we'd been told about by others who had been to Anilao at other times of the year.
The rooms at the hotel were nicely appointed, the staff very nice and helpful and the food was some of the best we've had at any dive resort.

UW Photo Comments They have a camera room, but it's locked when not in use and rooms are close enough and big enough that it's easier to set up cameras in the room.
