Comments	I stayed at the Marina Inn right at the dock in La Playita, a nice older property with a good restaurant. Taxi from the airport was the usual ripoff $80 but I did not make arrangements otherwise. (I used to have Cabo property for 30 yrs, so I know all the shenanigans). After a late afternoon departure, the voyage on Rocio Del Mar from San Jose Marina in San Jose Del Cabo to San Benedicto took about 30 hours. There was a huge northwest swell, 8-10 ft on the offshore buoys with a 14 second interval hitting the Rocio Del Mar at the starboard aft quarter. I knew about it because Mavericks and th N. Shore Hawaiʻi surf spots were breaking 25-30 ft a few days before and I was prepared. Many people on the boat were seasick, it was wise to use an antiemetic patch. Due to my age and level of experience (had my 100th dive on this trip) I chose to take advantage of Mexico Liveaboardʻs option of a private divemaster. Since I provided my Social Security Security statement, I was exempt from the significant cost of the Park Fees and used that cash to hire Leo for the entire trip. It made all the difference.
