Comments My 3rd trip on the Belle Amie. Bottom deck cabin stable, bed comfortable, but not really set up well. No basket in bathroom or shelf. Needs to have another shelf for clothes , there’s adequate wall/floor space but not present. Dining room easy, staff great, food good. Dive deck crowded when boat is full, hard to get geared up. Dive operations - 4 boats assigned order changes daily. Gear up, go down stairs, belly roll into tender. Divetimes rigidly enforced. Guides present but not hunting for critters like they do in Indonesia.
This trip was primarily diving with Guadeloupe Seals which have come up into the Sea of Cortez and Sea Lions. Some schooling hammerheads on dives. A few large bait balls which were great. Huge pod of dolphins for a surface snorkel, guides drove the tenders around to keep them engaged - awesome. Overall a Fun trip.
