Comments The crew, the food, the dive operations could not have been better. There were 27 divers & a few snorklers (from US, MX, Peru, Spain, etc.) & 13 crew...every one of whom was personable, knowledgeable, consistently helpful. Meals were the best I've had on ANY trip. The ultimate focus was to interact with whale sharks on the last day of the trip at Bahia de Los Angeles, but along the way we had hilarious encounters with sea lions, fur seals, bottlenose dolphins and many other "usual suspects" -- e.g., gold spotted eels, green morays, scorpionfish, a few hammerheads far below, giant hawkfish, dorado, triggerfish, nudibrancs, giant jawfish at Punta el Pescador. Nautilus is the most safety conscious vessel I've been aboard and presented the best safety briefing + best emergency drill. Every diver must carry a safety sausage, whistle, dive alert and GPS device (provided onboard if diver doesn't have his/her) own.
