Comments The crew of the Nautilus Belle Amie were absolutely amazing right from the get go. We had a safety briefing as first order of business with full lifejacket drill. Battery charging was done on the dive deck and "NO" unattended charging. As the boat transitioned at night, there was always crew awake and attentive. Safety was rule #1 in everything they did.

The ship is in fabulous condition. Rooms were very comfortable with ensuite baths and your own mini-split AC. Boat is well laid out and easy to navigate. Dining room and salon are spacious and comfortable. The dive deck is large and plenty of space for each diver. I had a small situation with my room and the captain immediately moved me to other, nicer, accommodations at no extra charge.

The diving was very good for the location. Not a lot of color in the corals, but that is to be expected in the Sea of Cortez. however, the amount of fish life was very good. Lots of good muck diving with many nudibranch varieties. Besides the usual, we saw Hammerhead sharks, loads of sea lions, Sperm Whales, and Pilot Whales. Astounding sights! Seeing the milky way while bobbing on the surface after a night dive, is something that I can't put into words!

Water temps was 87 and a rash guard was all that was needed.

I can't express enough how good the food was. Every time you turned around there was something delicious to eat. Felipe, the chef, did an outstanding job.

All the crew went out of their way to make you comfortable. So personable. They treated you like family, not just another paying guest for the week.

This was a fabulous trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
