Comments	I stayed/dove at three places in Sulawesi: Santika, Gangga Island, KBR -- my trip was arranged by Island Dreams. The Santika is an fine large resort with beautiful grounds and is an excellent value. Most dive trips go out to the national park at Bunakin Island (not far); some are off-shore Sulawesi -- the latter tend to be muck diving. There is no shore diving -- shore is mangroves. The reef was in excellent shape and the small sea-life was by far the best I'd seen in quality and quantity. (Tho Bangka Island north of Lembeh was even better the next week!) The Thalassa dive-guides were good at bringing you to interesting creatures and also good at telling you, back above-water, what the heck you saw. The only negative I have is that the DMs routinely disturbed sea-creatures: they turned anemones over looking for shrimp, stacked cowrys (why?), forced Mantis Shrimp out of holes, teased Ribbon Eels etc. And they had two Harlequin Shrimp that they kept in a bottle and "let out" for divers. This must be what their clientele wants ...
