Comments We spent a week at Thalassa Manado in early November 2025. For us it was quite easy to get to Manado compared with other dive destinations in Indonesia, with only one lay over that we turned into a mini-vacation in Singapore. Thalassa Manado is a convenient gateway to diving in the Bunaken National Park. After our week at Thalassa Manado we went across North Sulawesi to Thalassa Lembeh for a second week of diving. Since the resorts and dive experiences are so different, the stay at Thalassa Lembeh will go into a different review.

When we did our internet searches for North Sulawesi resorts, we found many reviews for Thalassa Manado, but take care: during the Covid lockdown Thalassa Manado moved to a new location where a new resort was built from scratch, so only consider reviews since late 2021.
