Comments Where to start? The location is spectacular - a small dive resort on its own mini-archipelago, Pulau Pef, with mushroom islands, turquoise bays, reefs, forests, beaches and mangroves. Kayaks for those wishing to explore their personal paradise. Very attentive friendly dive guides and a wealth of dive sites in all directions, including slopes, sea mounts, walls and some muck sites (unusual for the area). Not-to-be-missed were Fam islands (Fam Wall the best wall dive we did, with soft corals just below the surface, Melissa gardens a wild ride over pristine hard corals and clouds of tiny colorful reef fish, Batu Rufus with huge fan corals and our only pygmy seaho ... Where else diving Florida, Belize, Panama (Coiba, Pearl Is) St Vincent and Grenadines, UK, Red Sea (Sharm), Myanmar, Sulawesi (Wakatobi), Raja Ampat, Philippines (Luzon, Mindoro, Palawan), Solomons (Guadalcanal), New Zealand (Poor Knights), Papua New Guinea, west Australia
Closest Airport Sorong Getting There Orlando-Dubai-Jakarta-Sorong with Emirates Airways - booked as a single ticket and got 2 free hold bags the entire route, otherwise steep charges for second bag on Jakarta-Sorong leg. 40-50 hr travel time, we stopped in two hotels on the way in Dubai and Jakarta for 4-5 hours sleep each. Raja4Divers reps met us at Sorong airport at 6 am, taxi to Swiss BelHotel, breakfast, left around noon in their boat for 3 hr trip to Raja4Divers via Gam Passage.
