Comments I would HIGHLY recommend this trip and this live-aboard!!!!!! The corals and macrolife are more diverse and abundant than anywhere we've dove before. I don't think it can get better.
We were able to dive with Edi Frommenwiler, who owns the boat and discovered this dive area 16 years ago. He knows the location extremely well!! We learned so much diving with him and having him point out the most unusual species!
There are a max of 16 divers allowed on boat, with 3 Zodiacs, and up to 4 dives/day. The boat moves every day to new spots. Nitrox tanks are included! A Nitrox course is available. Divemasters (Mike and Markus)were super!!
Rentable gear is available and well-functioning.
Service is impeccable!! There are 17 Indonesian crew members. Staff are English and INdonesian speaking. Cabins are clean, comfortable, w/sheets and towels changed regularly. Each cabin has en suite bathrooms w/hot H20 and air con.
Food is unreal local cuisine!!! All drinks (except wine) are included!!!!!!!!!
I appreciate how they recycle beer bottles and H20 jugs.
And....in addition to it all, there is a PERSONAL MASSEUSE on board!!!! Gaga makes you go ga- ga!!!!
The island and jungle scenery is incomparable!
Many Europeans return and do this trip 4 times/year because it is so incredible. If I had the resources, I would return again in a heart-beat and bring a dozen friends!!!! With Nitrox tanks, most drinks, and taxes and fees included, this trip is very worth the value. It just doesn't get better!
