Comments NEH Lembeh is one of about 7 dive operators in the famous Lembeh Straits, the muck diving capital of Indonesia [and perhaps the world]. The staff was excellent, and the dive masters are superb at finding the tiny creatures. The manager Simon is very helpful, and his assistant Surge can fix almost anything. Our DM was Stanley, and he was a hard worker with excellent eyes. All the dives are pretty much the same. Drop to about 70 ft, and slowely move up the sloap, finding fascinating creatures for the next 75 minutes. Great fun seeing frogfish, seahorses, octopus, leaf fish, harlinquen shrimp, guynard, blue ring octopus, hairy crab, sea dragon, scorpionfish, shaggy frogfish, and a million nudibranc. I love big water and palagics, so was wondering if I would like this type of diving, but my wife and I would return tomorrow, and probably will in 2013. Most of the other dive operators in the area are more expensive than NAD Lembeh, but couldn't be any better. Accomodations were fine, food was very good to excellent, and staff was always smiling. Great 5 days of diving.
