Comments This one week trip was the amazing result of lots of research and advice from Undercurrent reader reviews. We were 8 experienced water people; 5 very experienced divers, 3 who were retired marine scientists and 3 very experienced snorkelers. The biggest issue that the Grand Komodo team were able to resolve was to provide a superior snorkeling experience at the same time that the divers were enjoying their 3 daily dives with only one dingy. The entire staff and the sea life exceeded our expectations. No matter how tired we were, nobody wanted to miss a single dive or snorkel trip. The boat was reasonable in cost, the food was creatively cooked and presented with lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and fish. I was the only photographer and the divemasters were very helpful pointing out critters and fish. The attitude of the crew in all aspects of the trip was one of helping each other perform myriad tasks to help us have an incredible experience. We all agreed that this was one of the best dive trips ever. We spent the following week at the company’s Grand Komodo Dive Lodge and extended our amazing trip another week.
