Comments There are 2 resorts on the island, I chose this one because they emphasized diving. It was just reopening from Covid, so there was construction going on, but our room was quite spacious and nice if not completely level. When we arrived we were the only guests for the first 3 days, 4 additional divers came for the last 5 days there. The managers went out of their way to make sure we liked the food and had everything we needed. I found the food excellent, quite spicy, but I like it that way, they did inquire about that and were willing to tone it down. It's a Muslim island, the managers indicated they and their family were the only non-muslims there. They did have alcohol. A Beer was about $6 US. When we first arrived, visibility was not that great, but it got better as the week went on. We dove on all the nearby islands which sometimes meant an hour or more to get there. There were no radios on any of the boats we were on, and none of the boats I saw from other resorts appeared to have any. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
