Comments The diving in Komodo is wonderful. Healthy and dense coral as far as the eye can see. Turtles, cuttlefish, eels, spotted eagle rays, manta rays, huge schools of fish, and lots of critters on night dives. The crew of the Arenui is extremely client centered. They take care of the gear for the week and the dive guides pride themselves in finding things for you and identification. The boat is owned by an Italian chef so the food is outstanding. The Indonesian chef is extremely talented as well.

There was plenty of space for wetsuit dressing, undressing, and gear stowage. They blow the camera equipment dry after each dive and unplug charging batteries overnight to avoid any unexpected sparks.

This is a top rated liveaboard and they definitely live up to their reputation.

UW Photo Comments The boat had camera tables with plenty of outlets. The cameras were taken on and off the dinghies by the crew and each camera was dried with compressed air after each dive. All charging on the camera tables were unplugged each evening when everyone went to bed to avoid any unexpected sparking.
There was an incredible amount of photo opportunities underwater in Komodo.
