Comments A part of the trip was the opportunity to see the Komodo dragons, both near shore as well as a walk in the park.

The Komodo Dancer had small cabins that were dark so there was no reason to go there but to sleep. Need to bring US adapters as outlets and power strips were for Indonesia outlets.

Dive masters were very enthusiastic and generally competent though not consistent. Even though you go out in a group on your tender, you might end up separated and on a different tender going back to the boat as you surface on your own rather than as a group. Current was too strong on several occasions to keep the groups together so you were on your own.

Manta Ray Alley was the first time I had seen Manta Rays though conditions were cold and dark.

Even though only about 16 divers max, most are photographers so when something is spotted that can result in a lot of divers waiting for some shots.

UW Photo Comments A long table is used for the setup of camera equipment. While it is padded, there is nothing special such as compressed air or lights or electrical outlets for photography. It is conveniently located by the area where most people will get suited up and getting on to the tenders.
