Comments This is a newer resort and still in the process of refining itself. But the owners are on-site and are working hard to make this a great resort despite its' remote location. The accommodations are good and air conditioning works in the individual bungalows. Meals are family style and the food was wonderful.
The diving is a mixture of coral and muck. The currents are big in the main Pentar Strait sites and less in the bays with the muck diving. The water temp was surprising - cold upwellings are frequent and I used a 5mm wetsuit and still was chilled. Several European folks used 7 mm suits with hoods.
There was no Nitrox but this was to be added. There are Mola Mola in the Straits but big life is not a major feature for diving in this area.
The resort people are responsive and will answer any questions you may have.
I enjoyed a one week stay with 3 dives each day and can give high marks for this spot.
