Comments While we did encounter schooling hammerheads on day 3, the warm water due to the super El Niño kept the big critters deep so we didn’t see much besides that. Mola molas and whale sharks in the wild will have to stay on my bucket list. Diving was challenging due to the strong currents. You dive in two groups in zodiacs and backroll every entry. Negative entry and we had to kick down hard to get below 15 feet to avoid the current blowing you off the spot. You descend to the rocks or a levee and wait.
