Comments Shark dive for the Bat Islands.
Great facility north of Tamarindo. Very well set up shop, fleet of fast boats, Incredible dive master, and free beer after the dives!
Very fast zodiac out to the islands, about 1 hour.
Probably the best dive master I've encountered, "BEA", from Germany.
Kind, patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the local conditions. Very patient with a very difficult "Karen-esque" diver from Italy who started out complaining about everything. She calmed her down, led the two shark dives on the outer islands.
Saw at least 8 very large Bull sharks, and a school of black tipped reef sharks. Lot's of big fish, small fish, and corals on the sea mount.
Snacks and water on the boat, free craft beer when we got back to the shop.
Great dive experience, and highly recommended to any experienced divers.
