Comments Took the 4 day and night Spirit of Freedom Live-a-board with a maximum of 15 dives.
Flight from Caines regional airport limited us to 45 lbs of checked baggage( including your dive gear!)A small carry on limited to 4 lbs or a dive camera was allowed. A beautiful 45 minute low flying plane dropped us off on the exquisite and exclusive Lizard Island. We were immediately transported to the ship via a zodiac.
Very efficient staff of 10 provided excellent service for the entire 4 days.
Due to the perfect weather conditions, the crew wanted to visit reefs that had not been seen in 10 years! The pleasure was all ours!
Meals:high quality gourmet meals and drink!Am gluten free and they were very considerate of food preferences and allergies.
Rooms: small but efficient and comfortable beds.Hot shower never ran out of water!
Staff: excellent and well trained for service and proficiency
Sea Sickness: They offer medication on board for those with weak stomach. The Coral sea can be rough and we traveled by boat through the night.First night was a rocky 10 straight hours to get to the dive sites.
Diving: The best. One of compression hoses was leaking and they replaced it immediately for a reasonable fee.
Nitrox: Recommended for multiple dive.My cost was $105.00 for 14 dives. Skipped the night dive since that would make 5 in one day ...know your limits!
Photos: They will provide you a dive card with photos for only $40.00.
Relax Time: Surface intervals were up on decks with refreshments after each dive. Limited Wi-fi is available when close to shore.
