Comments Took the seven day itinerary. The hard corals were in far better shape than in the Carribean and there were a lot of different reef fish. The bus from the airport was $10 Aus per person. Taxis were $30 aus for the taxi. With four of us it was cheaper and faster to take a taxi. You need to eat dinner before you board the boat at 6PM.

The boat was comfortable. The crew was helpful. The food was average for the liveaboards on which I have traveled. Coffee, tea, and water were available for free. Soft drinks had to be purchased.

Take a converter with multiple sockets if you need to plug in a number of 110 volt US appliances. For some reason cabin 8 and 12 did not have hot water in the sink. Cabin 7 was reported to have hot water. The holder above the sink has large openings in the bottom of the side so smaller items kept falling through the slots as the boat rocked. In cabin 7 one of the bunks had a nice shelf on which to put things. The other bunk did not have provision to store reading glasses etc. There was adequate storage for clothes and luggage could be stored under one of the bunks. If you are subject to sea sickness, take appropriate medications. During the trip to Osprey Reef several people became sick.
