Currents between Indonesian islands can be extremely strong, so it's no surprise that four divers, two Irish, an Austrian woman, and their Indonesian dive guide, were swept away from their dive near East Nusa Tenggara. off Flores, on October 4. Separated from their boat and more than three hours overdue, it was not until 2.00 pm that the crew raised an alarm and authorities initiated a formal search. The Austrian woman was soon found floating more than 3 miles from the site, but it was not until 9.00 am the following morning that a thermal imaging drone spotted the two Irish divers. And the dive guide was found five miles from the original site. Luckily, all four divers were unscathed by their experience....
