Comments I have been diving with LTS for 15 years. The best dive operation in inland Texas, located on Lake Travis, 15 miles outside of Austin.
Safety first at all times. The full range of divers from Open Water to Tec instructors, as well as divers who have done the Andria Doria and the Britannic.
The captain and owner, Robert Weiss, is extremely dedicated to maintaining a safe professional dive operation.
His dive masters, especially Brian and Danny, are professional and competent. They are also funny and brilliant.
Treasure hunting is probably the favorite activity under the party boats and barges during the warm seasons. There are also numerous dive sites with grottos, sunken groves of Pecan Trees, as well as numerous wrecks of smaller boats. Lots of large fish, such as Freshwater Drum, Carp, Alligator Gar, large catfish, as well as Bass, Perch, and crappie.
I consider myself to be very fortunate to have access to this operation year round to maintain and increase my skills.
