Comments We spent 5 days diving the ship wrecks around Key Largo, we had Horizon Divers smaller boat to our selves for our group of six divers. we did 10 dives during the trip. every dive was a decompression dive, and several were trimix. Two dives stand out as exceptional, the first was on the Northern Light (187' with a drift decompression). To dive this wreck you hook the wreck from the surface with a grapel, entering the water you pull youself down to the wreck through the curent, according to the captian the current is always stong over this wreck. After completeing you dive you blow a bag, and do your decompression drifting with the current. The second dive was a noght dive on the Duane ('140). The night we dove, the coral was all out feding, and the ship was covered in bright orange of the polups extended to feed. While we were on the wreck, we saw several large moral eels, and a sea turtle that was at leat 4 feet long. I really recommend Horizon Divers to support your techincal diving in Key Largo. They were always willing to do what it took to get the deco bottles filled, and the tanks blended for our next set of dives, this sometimes meant early monings or late nights for the staff but our tanks were always ready to go.
