Comments Took a weekend dive trip to the Keys with Brass Anchor Scuba Center out of Frederick, MD, and dove with Conch Republic. Mark was our Captain and Jasen was our Divemaster for our two morning dives. We were supposed to dive the Spiegel Grove, but conditions didn't allow us to, so Mark took us to the Duane where we double-dipped. Met up with a big Hawksbill turtle on the top deck of the wreck munching on some of the coral encrusting the wreck, and he let us hang out with him for a while before he decided to take off in search of more to eat. Plenty of fish on the wreck, and even one small octopus that a grouper had its eyes on for breakfast. Current was a little brisk, but not bad. Afternoon dive was on Davis Reef, lots of surge impacted vis, but otherwise a really nice dive where we saw morays, nurse sharks, spiny lobsters. Weather turned bad and we weren't able to get any more dives in for the weekend, but Conch Republic did a fantastic job taking great care of us, will definitely dive with them again.
