Comments Nice shop and boat. The people were helpful, but the main problem was that they misled our group of three divers regarding dive conditions. They told us that visibility was in the 70' range, when in fact it was barely 20'. They also told us that the seas were flattening out, when in fact the seas became rougher as we proceeded to the dive site. The boat captain lost our bubbles right after we entered the water and the dive boat was not visible from 20' depth. The dive (at Sombrero) was short and not very interesting, since we could see virtually nothing. As an indication of the conditions, our boat was the only one out that day and we scrubbed the second dive because everyone became nauseous due to the rough conditions. On a positive note, they did rinse and dry our gear after we returned. By the way, we were informed after the fact that dive shops in the Fl Keys area will only provide a divemaster upon request and for an extra fee. We were not aware of this fact until we had already booked the dive and were leaving the dock. Our mistake, but one other divers may want to consider before booking.
