Comments	We chose Oasis after a very scathing report in the last edition of the The Chap Book about one of the other dive facilities. I felt someone might just have had a bad day writing such a review, but, alas, from my conversation with locals her review was justified, We were extremely happy with Oasis: excellent guides, efficient operation, friendly, helpful cheerful service. We also heard good things about Blue Water Divers. The Osprey Beach Hotel is beautifully sited on the beach and well landscaped, with a central courtyard around the swimming pool. The food is good but very limited in variety, something it shares with all the eateries on the island. We ate at most of the island establishments and ranked the consistency of food downwards of mediocre but then again we didn't go to the Turks for a gourmet experience, The old Turks Head Inn has become a well traveled movie location. Unfortunately when the actors decide to unwind they come to the Osprey Beach at 5 a.m.and carry on. Jen, the Osprey owner kicked them out on their butts. There is a lot to be said for the Osprey!
