Comments Frank and Camille have a great operation; Clean, well-organized, and fun! James was our assigned guide and one of the best. James got to know us, how we dive and how to help in getting around and finding great photo subjects. I had hurt my back just prior to the trip and the crew did everything to help me be successful diving. Above and beyond! The Andaman Sea is a must do trip full of Sealife, coral and unique scenery.
Frank is a professional photographer, and the vessel reflects this. All charging is done in a well thought out camera room with separate rinse tanks for photo equipment. The crew knew which gear belonged to which diver and carried it to the dive platform and handed to the diver.
The blackwater dive we did with Frank’s knowledge, was special. He really set it up better than others I have been on and it showed in results. You need to do this if you have the requisite experience in diving.
Food! Rooms! What can I say but great. Plenty of room to store things in the room, comfortable beds and showers and food representative of the best in Thailand.
Safety and Covid: Safety was well taken care of on this vessel and the crew. Oxygen was pointed out and readily available as well as expected fire extinguishers. DSMBs were a requirement and used. The use of COVID masks was still widespread in Thailand but rarely a requirement and on the boat some folks used masks and others did not.
Environmental sensitive, divers on the Smiling Seahorse were asked to respect the environment and especially coral. It was emphasized not to touch, and photographers were warned to watch their fins, especially on those close shots.
The only bad thing about the trip was it was not long enough.

UW Photo Comments As stated, before the vessel and crew handle photographer in the best manner possible. A great camera room and the crew is careful with your gear.
