Comments We were pleasantly surprised by both the resort and the dive operation. The Resort was built on the side of a mountain. They state that there over a 1,00 steps from the bottom to the top and while I didn't count them, they may be light. The resort was wonderful. Each room was set where you didn't see any of the other rooms. We had two walls that were open to the rainforest. I was a bit concerned that there was no A/C but it was actually very comfortable. We had a 30" Diameter tree growing from our bathroom through the roof. The biggest problem we had was a very noisy Tree Frog in our bathroom. The beach was very nice, Black Sand beach. There was a second Beach a short water taxi or a very long walk just around the point that was extremely nice. The food in all three restaurants were varied and very good. Scuba St. Lucia was a very good and through dive operation. The boats were very comfortable and well staffed. Groups were small and the dive masters let you dive your dive after they were comfortable with you. The diving was a surprise also. We had quite a bit of rain at night but the viz was very good. The coral looked to be in very good shade however there was some bleaching taking place. While we didn't see any sharks, we did see several Eagle Rays and Turtles. I don't think I have ever seen as many Fire Worms, Lettuce Leaf Slugs, and Arroe Crabs. There were a lot of different Nudibranchs. We dove 6 days and would have been happy to stay longer. One very cool thing the resort offered was to fly to the resort from the airport via helicopter. Well worth the small upgrade price.
