Comments Sea Saba is a first rate operation. We we picked up at our AirBnB right on time every morning and returned comfortable at the end of the day. We had three dives every day. Paid for nitrox in advance and tanks were waiting every day. Never had to touch our gear after arrival. Everything was set up when we arrived, changed between dives, and rinsed at the end of the day. Maximum divers on our boat was 7, but usually 4-5. Two dive masters in the water for most dives. Boats are new and comfortable.

As is the case in the rest of the Caribbean, the reefs are stressed. Not too much bleaching at this point, but lots of algae, especially 50 feet and above. Below 50 feet reef conditions are better. The good news is fish population is still okay. On our 12 dives we saw more sharks (Reef and Nurse) and turtles than we could count. All-in-all the reefs are much better than our last trip to Roatan. I'm a big fan of Garden Eels, and there are plenty in Saba to enjoy.

Above sea level the island is very friendly. We'd walk into Windwardside in the evening for dinner, where there are a surprisingly large number of really good restaurants.

We will return.
