Comments The quality of the ship, the Aggressor II, was nothing like in the photos provided to us ahead of time. We brought a group of 22 on this boat. No one had the extreme problems that we experienced, but everyone was quite disappointed in the ship compared to the photos online.

We had sewage leaking into our bed almost every day we stayed, the sheets felt like sandpaper with the pilling, and everything in general was incredibly worn out and in need of maintenance. Everything on the boat was very worn and ran down. One of the inflatable boats had the entire hull pop off during use, and the other one, the motor fell off during use. I should have taken many more photos than I did, but my goal was not about writing a review at the time, I was just focused on surviving the trip and trying to find some enjoyment. Honestly, I was a little bit in shock of the situation and very embarrassed.

The leaking sewage was reported to the staff, who put a towel on the bed, but were not able to stop the leak. They tried a mini repair several times, but tape is not a fix and not much could be done until the ship returned to drydock.

Every customer that stayed with us on the first week was incredibly disappointed in the ship. Everyone commented that the photos were nothing like how the ship looks today, and how militant Instructor Ahmed was. This ship is advertised as 5-star, but in our opinion is 3-star, at best, and that would be generous.

Dive Instructor Ahmed ran the ship and the dives like we were in the military. Never have we experienced someone like that leading dives. Several days into the trip, we addressed this with him and from then on out, Kimo was the main interaction. Kimo was great, as was the rest of the staff. The chef did a great job with the food, considering the options they have available in that country. We did consider the food to be low quality, such as white breads, little to no fresh vegetables, and lots of prepackaged junk food.

Additional note would be "helping" guests with their wetsuits. The staff on the deck was incredibly aggressive with female guests in particular. Some of the older women appreciated the help, but I found myself literally hiding in the corner with my partner blocking the "helpers". I found it overly aggressive and disrespectful, and I was glad we did not have any really young girls on the trip with us. I tried telling them that I did not want the help, but they did not understand English at all or just ignored it. They would literally grab me as I walked past and rip my zipper down on my wetsuit. I was very uncomfortable and did not feel safe on the vessel.

In the end, it took upper management over 5 months to respond to my letters to them, and it was only after and online media post that they finally responded. They gave us $250 off our next trip, which unfortunately is already scheduled with one of their vessels in the Maldives. I feel they should have given us a 100% refund on the room we ended up in for the whole stay.

There was also an incident with Zoe El Beialy, one of their representatives disclosing confidential contract information between us and the Aggressor, to one of our customers that lead to litigation. We won the lawsuit, but still have to collect the money. I feel Zoe should be fired for her part in the incident, and after our next trip, I do not plan to do business with the Aggressor company ever again.
