Comments Good service from this established dive centre. There is a large scale training operation here including DM & IDC training with many on these courses when we visited.

This was a short visit after a liveaboard trip so didn't dive all of the sites available; spent a week here back in 2007 when we did a large variety of day trips then such as Gato & Calanggaman Islands, which provide great variety. Poor sea conditions due to a tropical depression to he East meant sites were restricted but they always managed to get us out diving worthwhile sites.

The party piece of Malapascua is the cleaning station at Monad Shoal; dives leave early am for best chances of sightings. 1-2 threshers sited on each of the three days we were hers along with giant Manta.
There is also a wide range of other dive sites in the area from reef, wreck to some good muck - personal sightings in 5 dives included several frogrish, many varieties of nudibranch, multiple plurobranch, xenocrab, zebra crab, peacock razorfish, longhorn cowfish, soft coral crabs etc...

Thresher Shark Divers offer great service with good bar & restaurant above (Oscar's). They do not have their own accomodations and can therefore tailor accomodation to your needs / budget and do so efficiently. Note this is not a "luxury" destination but a very laid back island..

Highly recomeneded.
