Guests were an international mix. We encountered people from Germany, Italy, Israel, Japan, South Africa, Philippines, and elsewhere during our stay, some more social than others. All were seasoned travelers and most were fairly serious UW photographers.
The resort faces west, situated along a narrow property between a somewhat busy 2-lane road and a mangrove. The office (as we called it) is where one can refill a water bottle, purchase beverages (soft drinks, beer, assorted liquors) and shop a modest assortment of souvenirs and t-shirts. A padded bench and table provide a seating area. There is a small library of paperback books, marine life ID books and photo books by noted UW photographers available for guest reference. A work station for maintenance of resort dive gear is also located in this space.

If arriving by ferry you will likely be met and transported to the resort via a "trike", not a van (which we were mistakenly just assuming). The one that met us at 2:30am BARELY (cannot stress this enough) managed to fit the two of us and our luggage (4 regulation full-size checked pieces + 4 carry-on pieces, 280lbs). Dive Experience Over 1000 dives
Where else diving Indonesia (x5), Borneo, Philippines (x7), Fiji (x2), Solomon Islands, PNG, Red Sea, Sea of Cortez, Cozumel (x3), St. Vincent (x4), Costa Rica, Bahamas (x3), Bonaire (x3), Curacao (x2), Honduras (x2), etc.
Closest Airport Caticlan Airport/Boracay (none close) Getting There Traveling to Romblon is considerably more challenging than to popular areas such as Anilao, Puerto Galera and Dumaguette. It may be best suited to those who take well to adventure travel and can weather some uncertainty. The resort website explains the various travel options. We took the Starlite Ferry from/to Batangas City (as the website describes), and our experience was good/as expected. The resort assisted in obtaining our ferry tickets in advance and added the cost to our total.

Dive own profile ?
Enforced diving restrictions Dives were always guided, and times were limited to around 70 minutes. They typically conduct 4 dives/day: 2 morning and 2 afternoon. If a night or BW dive is scheduled, they suggest limiting to one or no dives in the afternoon (prudent considering they do not have nitrox).
