Comments From leaving our home to our first dive took 57 hours, but it was worth it. We decided to try Romblon because of positive reviews of 3-P Resort as a base for seeing numerous rare creatures, but that resort was fully booked, so we decided to try Sunset Cove, and were not disappointed. There was a bit of a journey, we overnighted in Manila at Bayprime hotel near the airport (close, comfortable, great value $85), caught 6.30 am flight to Caticlan on Panay then straight to port for ferry to Santa Fe on Tablas island. Ferries go every half hour in early morning and crossing was 1.75 hrs, the ferry is an enlarged outrigger. From Santa Fe onwards everything was arranged by Sunset Cove - taxi through picturesque Tablas island and outrigger to Alad Island where Sunset Cove is located, arrived at 12.30pm in time for lunch.
