Comments I knew it was risky to travel in the rainy season. But my first stop was not bad. Pescador Island is a good dive. The corals and the tropical fish are pretty decent. But saw very little large fish. Did see a Whale Shark that swam right by us. Dove Pescador twice and did a shore dive called Airplane once. Neptune Diving is a quality outfit. Stayed at Maya's Native Resort as I have found that finding low cost places is easy in Philippines. The beach town of Moalboal where the resorts and dive shops are is pretty bad. But it is a folksy destination and I did enjoy my 2 days there. Diving high season might be much better. There are many dive operations on the beach front. I would recommend diving there as it is good value.
