Comments	After 12 days at Magic Oceans in Anda, I transferred to Magic Island in Moalboal. The trip was handled by the Magic Resorts, and involved a 2-hour drive to the ferry port in Tagbilaran, a 2-hour Ocean Jet ferry ride from Tagbilaran to Cebu, followed by another drive of 2-3 hours to Magic Islands in Moalboal. Arriving at Magic Islands, the resort was instantly recognizable as being a “sister” to Magic Oceans. The design of the properties are very similar, with Magic Islands being the smaller one, having only ten bungalows. The bungalows are noticeably smaller, and not quite as nicely appointed. My only real criticism is the lack of glass windows – the windows are screened and covered with wood slats, no glass – so the only way to keep the air conditioned air in also eliminates all daylight. Photos on the website don't show this; I can only guess that this change resulted from past storm damage, but I was surprised at this and admittedly a bit ... Subscribe to get the full story.
