Comments the bad: a 14 yr. experienced DM ( Jhonry) quit on May 20 due to conflict with mgm't.; there were biting bugs long after insectidcide spray in my room; no sharks; lots of new construction at the Sabang Inn continuing which may mean higher costs in future. A fellow American diver says Captain Gregg resort is the cheapest at Sabang; mabe. a croc.
the good: lots to see w/ Jhonry as DM; a giant barracuda seen once; turtle seen; sea horse, lots of Nudi, some colorful reefs, a scorpion fish, a stone fish; low cost since I did not stay at Atlantis resort ( $1700 / week); my cost for room and diving was less than $400/ week; surprisingly, breakfast was 100 peso (~$2 USD) next door at the Seashore; lots of polite resort workers.
neutral: a few "street walkers" last yr. became dozens this yr.; all young and slender w/ lots of make up on; only a few older guys had rented some for the time (week?)
