Comments I travel with my wife who does not dive. My review is biased towards a balance that works for both of us. This was our first trip to the Philippines and we loved it! The people are friendly, the roads are modern, everyone speaks English, signs are in English, and prices are reasonable. It is just pleasant and easy to enjoy. Atmosphere Resort & Spa was highly recommended by other divers we had met in Indonesia. It is an upscale resort that did not disappoint. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, the staff and service exceptional, the diving excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the dining. I'll cover some of the highlights for us.
FOOD - We did the Diver's Meal Plan and recommend it. For a fixed price you get a generous breakfast (included anyway), a one-course lunch and a three-course dinner each day. A small number of premium menu items are not included, but can be ordered for a reasonable additional charge. Beverages such as soda, beer, wine and cocktails are also not included but available at a reasonable additional charge. Where else diving My dive travel was substantially reduced due to COVID, but is now more frequent. I have visited multiple sites in the Caribbean and Pacific.
Closest Airport Dumaguete City Getting There This is a very long journey from the midwestern U.S., but we had no particular difficulties either going or returning. We took Delta flights from our home through Minneapolis to San Francisco. Singapore Airlines from San Francisco through Singapore to Manila. Cebu Pacific from Manila to Dumaguete.
