Comments Our second trip back was for two weeks and every bit as wonderful as first. 3 or 4 dives a day. Boats are traditional bank or speed boat. NO issues with either boat - ladders are better on the bank. Nudibranchs of all spectacular colors and designs are all over the place. A turtle here and there. Viz was cloudy and water temp was 77 at beginning of trip and 81 at end.

Be mindful that many of the sea view rooms require traversing several steps but there are rooms around the pool. Rooms were nice with an electric water maker for hot tea or coffee - no mini fridge...room had safe.

Our package included "full board" which we won't do again as I believe we can order from the pay-as-you-go menu and end up paying less. Full board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner each three courses - that's way too much food for us. Food is awesomely delicious and plentiful. Restaurant folks greet you by name and are the sweetest ladies ever.

The folks are Asia Divers are the best also. Most of the dive masters point out those special critters you might pass right over especially the little stuff. Dive sites are quite close with longest maybe 10 minutes away. Verde Island is a MUST SEE and a longer boat ride with surface time spent on the island itself - a must do experience. Your dive gear is all handled by folks on the dock including rinsing your wet suit - amazing. We would find out suits, socks and booties sitting on the bench when we arrived on dock in the morning !

ElGalleon/Asia divers have their own dock so you don't have to wade thru the water for initial boarding of boat as is necessary at other resorts in the area.

Our package included a private taxi 2.5 hours south from MNL where we boarded a bangka for a one hour ride to resort.

Yes, we have a third trip already on the books.

Thanks for the report. I will be going over for 11 days next April- looks like you were there this April. Likes like the water temp increased considerably during your stay. What weeks of the month were you there? Thanks again.

We were there first two weeks in April. We are going back May 2020 as water should be a tad warmer
