Comments I can’t believe that there were no Undercurrent subscribers that visited PNG at Walindi or on the MV Febrina or Oceania during late 2023, 2024 or early 2025. If there were, I’d hope that some would post reviews upon which I could rely on to plan dive trips.

We were on the MV Oceania return cruise from Rabual to Walindi and were really looking forward to the trip because of our experience on the MV Febrina Signature Itinerary eight years ago. Many of the areas the Febrina went would be part of this trip. Our experience diving from the Febrina provided some of the best diving memories of our lives. Needless to say our expectations for this trip were very high however, we were hugely disappointed in what we witnessed on the reefs since that last trip. I would estimate that 90+% were dead or dying and covered in algae. Likewise, the variety and shear numbers of fish has diminished significantly. Speaking ... Subscribe to get the full story. Closest Airport Rabual Getting There Atlanta to Seoul, Seoul to Brisbane, Brisbane to Port Moresby, overnight stay, Port Moresby to Rabual. I know it seems like a lot of extra miles flown but this route was an economic choice.
