Comments	I have dived with these guys a few times, although they used to be called Dive Academy Gran Canaria and have recently changed ownership and name. I am lucky enough to have friends who live in Gran Canaria and this operation are happy to collect you from nearby hotels / accommodation and drop you off again. I did all shore dives but the centre are offering more boat dives now as well. Shore entries are from beaches or over rocks and so you need a basic level of fitness to carry gear and get in and out. The staff do of course help with getting fins on and off and helping you in and out of the water. My favourite dive site is the El Cabron marine reserve near Arinaga. The topography here is rocky reef and being the Atlantic, conditions are variable but generally good vis and dive able all year round. Plenty to see including octopus, barracuda, Angel sharks in season, roncadores, trumpetfish. European parrotfish and nudibranchs to name but a few! I always enjoy diving here and the centre has a great set up with great guides!
