Comments	Did two dives in a break from a two week bus tour of Sri Lanka. Diving in Unawatuna, on the southside of Sri Lanka, in between the diving seasons of the north and south, was okay. I knew this before going but wanted to get wet. There were still heavy rains in the evening and night so the vis was 20-25 feet. The water was very warm, in the mid 80s. Corals were just starting to come back after being destroyed in a typhon a couple years ago. There was a surprising amount of small fish like butterflies, angels, snappers, grunts, etc. The largest fish I saw were Titan triggerfish, which were plentiful. The best part of the dive were the numerous different types of nudibranchs. The dive operations receive high scores for their professionalism and friendly attitude. Very accommodating as well. They offer a free pick up service from several nearby beaches. The rental gear was Scubapro in almost new shape. But it was at the rental gear level and I'm used to having my own gear. Boats are launched and landed on the very soft sand beach. The four boats are small but well organized, have necessary safety gear, and have a cover from the sun. Entry is by backroll. Would like to come back during the prime season when whale sharks and whales are presents.
