Comments We timed our trip to coincide with the Full Moon towards the end of October 2026. Full Moon is when you can see the Red Snapper aggregation and spawning. We had two dives at the spawning site and saw the aggregations of thousands of Red Snapper which was impressive.

We were met at the airport by Black Pearl staff and transferred to the boat. There was a good boat briefing and a practice emergency muster drill. There was a night watchman on every night. There were adequate areas for charging batteries and attending to cameras.

Closest Airport Koror Getting There We were travelling from the UK. We connected both ways through Taipei using China Airlines. Other European and North American guests did the same. Required an overnight in Taipei on the way in (Hyatt Regency by the airport was good with complimentary shuttle bus) and we had to spend a night in Koror on the way out. We stayed at Cove Resort which was fine. We had dinner at Elilai restaurant which provided a complimentary shuttle bus and was very good
