Comments Palau has been a dream destination for me for years. It did not disappoint. The marine life is rich and plentiful, (although we are sure the manta rays took the week off the week we were there). We saw countless numbers of sharks, assorted fish, turtles and corals of every type. We experienced calm waters and wild currents (this was my first time using a reef hook...it's like being a kite!). The whole dive experience was breathtaking!

And Palau Dive Adventures was a top notch operation if you like a smaller group and individual attention. We dove new sites every day and were mostly with the same divers all week...that is how they sell their packages, although they are flexible with their schedules. Some people only dove 3 days with us, we started our week on a Sunday instead of the usual Monday...all accommodated with a smile. The attention we got from the crew and staff was beyond 5 star. On the boat each pair of divers gets their own station with forward facing bench seats. Things that need to stay dry are stored in the seat. Tanks are all in your "station" and serviced by the crew. Plenty of cold water, snacks, delicious lunches and even towels to borrow for the week. I can't say enough good things about this dive operation.

As to the resort: it was perfect in every way. The off shore snorkeling was better than the diving I have done in many places. Food was excellent with an enormous breakfast buffet. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. Another more than 5 star experience.

UW Photo Comments Between the clear water, very little current in many places and rich, abundant sea life, this is a photographer's dream. I brought a GoPro 7 Black and am thrilled with all the video footage and am able to pull great stills from the videos.
