Comments I wish I'd planned to stay longer! Everything good that's been previously said about MRBR, I happily echo. Superb staff, thoughtfully designed accommodations, good restaurant considering how far they are from supply sources. And a wonderful variety of dive options: Mantas, Mandarinfish, sharks, macro, lots of healthy reef fish. I would have given a 5+ in all the "5" categories if it had been available.

Highlights for us were the Mantas and Mandarinfish -- two dives for each and lots of them on each dive. These are the low-visibility dives (all dives outside the reef were 100+) because they're in the channel; but you are so close to your subjects it doesn't matter.

We don't return to many places because there is such a wide world of diving out there; but we will return to Manta Ray Bay!

UW Photo Comments The camera setup in the dive shop is the BEST I've ever seen. Personal stations with locking storage, multiple charging outlets, air dryer hose, magnifying glass. Dedicated rinse tanks. The boats made sure there were enough buckets for all cameras.
