Comments	This was a last minute trip planned just a week before we departed. We felt really lucky to have found a cabin available for Christmas week with such short notice. We had a full boat with 26 divers and 18 crew. The 2 managers, Russ and Kati also acted as dive guides. Getting there from the East Coast was pretty easy, albeit VERY expensive since it was last minute. We flew from JFK to Doha and then to Male. Fortunately, we arrived the day before boarding since our bags were left in Doha. We stayed at the Hulhule Resort Hotel in Male, right next to the airport and they were terrific. They have a shuttle to/from the airport (5 minutes) and they went above and beyond in helping us with the late luggage. They called multiple times to check the status of the bags. The following morning, after receiving confirmation that the bags had arrived, they had a staff member escort us back to the airport, to the baggage claim area and then to our rendezvous point with the boat. The hotel has a nice pool, a small beach and 2 restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Typical airport hotel except with extraordinary customer service.
