Comments	We opted to travel to the South Atolls for our land based stay after a week on board the Emperor Explorer doing the Central itinerary. Since this was a last minute trip, we didn’t have much time to research and we were also hampered by availability since we were traveling over the holidays. We ended up at the NH Collections Maldives Havodda Resort. The resort is typical of the area with beach and OTW villas on a private island. Reservations were all done on line and were very easy. Their assistance in getting us to the resort was top notch. They made the reservations for the flight to/from Male (although it was an additional cost) We met their rep at a specified booth at Male airport. From there, we were escorted to a domestic terminal lounge to await boarding time. They put us in a private area of the lounge which was nice since the main area was really crowded. At the appointed time, a rep arrived to escort us to check in. After our one hour flight, we were met at the airport and transported via golf cart to a comfortable transport boat where we had a 30 minute ride to the resort. Bags were sent separately.
