Comments Diving at Sipadan was AMAZING-for the shear quantities of fish (Bump Head Parrott Fish and Barracuda, especially). Comfortable boat for our group (of 9) with DM's. Stayed at Mabul Water Bungalows-clean, spacious rooms with two-level, partially covered decks over the lagoon. This was an 'post-trip extension' to a trip with Wild Earth Expeditions and owner, Thomas Baechtold, was our trip leader. He was able to arrange a second day of diving at Sipadan for us and he thought of and took care of everything! The trip to both diving and jungle lodges (Sepilok, Sukau, Kinabatangan, Danum Valley)was extremely well organized and comfortable. We saw fabulous monkeys, birds, snakes, and fish in the wild. Sixteen guests,Americans and 1 Australian on main trip. All guests were into nature and lovely, friendly people. A/C in every guest's room, comfortable vehicles, guides spoke excellent English throughout. Tremendous variety of delicious foods served buffet-style at every resort. In short, an amazig trip!
