Comments Food was average. The place is loaded with Chinese but contrary to other opinions they were not any impolite. 90% of them do not dive. It appears they go there to relax and snorkel. Snorkeling within the confines of the village is cool. Looking out your balcony, which no one else has the ability to see in, you see star fish, trumpet fish turtles and the occasional shark. If you are out there you might want to stop in SIngapore an amazing city and worth 2-3 days say.

There is no AC in the huts but after sundown it cools off. The view is amazing. Try to stay on the sunrise side so the hut does not get extremely hot in the pm when you are there. They spray for mosquitos regularly but that did not interfere with our accommodations. Everything is included except drinks which they have beer and it is relatively cheap.

Dive operations were very good. The ride to the dive sites are only minutes.

UW Photo Comments Great diving, lots of critters big and small. Turtles were amazing with sizes reaching 5-6 feet. Sharks and schools of fish amazing at Sipadan. You have to have a permit to dive Sipadan which the resort obtains. We were able to dive it twice in 1 week. Diving just off the dock is amazing, Mandarin fish, nudibranchs, sharks etc.
