Comments	The rental gear seemed in good shape, the boat was impeccable ( 46' Newton) O2 on board, the captain is Great ( Capt. Hook), most of the DM's are fine, some are on power trips. The resort won't allow anybody below a DM grade to show up and dive without doing a shallow check out dive, which is the 2nd dive at 11:30am. Doesn't matter how many dives you have, doesn't matter that you were diving somewhere else last week, you have to follow this rule. I came to Jamaica for a family wedding, expecting the diving to be poor, since that's all we hear about, but I was pleasantly surprised at the life on the reefs. During 2 dives we were actually allowed to relax and explore the reef and we saw a ton of small stuff. I wouldn't come here specifically to dive, but if I were coming here, I would dive, just try to get a DM that will let you dive without having to hold hands ......

Enforced diving restrictions	Time limited to 40 minutes, depth on first dive max 70 feet, 2nd dive 40 feet. Have to follow in the group, no lagging behind, taking pics is a challenge due to the desire of some DM's to do mileage instead of exploring the reefs. Unfortunate.

UW Photo Comments	This dive op is not really friendly for photographers, the diving is included in the package, so the dive staff seem to only want to get you in, move you along then get you out. Isn't condusive to UWP...unless all you want to shoot are big lionfish which are out in the open everywhere and you can shoot on your way by...
