Comments Wasn’t expecting much from my last trip to Roatan, but decided to try a land based experience throu UnderseaX.com.

I was very pleasantly surprised. The whole process, from checking in, through every dive was seamless. They are a well run operation with dive guides who’re really know their reefs and how to find all sorts of critters. Of course it is the rainy season, so the runoff makes thing a bit murky, but most days has visibility at 40-50 ft. A nice flood light really brought color to the reef

Was a little disappointed that we saw zero sharks or rays, and only small eels, which was a big difference from 4 years ago. It seems that since covid, the cruise ship traffic has tripled, and they are now allowing jet skis everywhere to support the cruisers. That violent noise is scaring the larger animals away. It is really a shame.

The food at the resort was typical fare, but the service at the two restaurants was very very very slow, so stick to the buffet.

They have two pools and lots of different room types.

I’d definitely return with a group
